Sarah Wujcik is currently in her 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at the Pennsylvania State University. In May 2012, she will graduate with an integrated Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering with a focus in lighting and electrical design.

During summer 2010, Sarah spent seven weeks in Rome, Italy with the sede di roma program. The intense twelve credit program provided her with an understanding and appreciation of Italian architecture and history.

This past summer Sarah interned at Grenald Waldron Associates, an architectural lighting design firm in Philadelphia, PA. As an intern, she aided in the lighting design of innovative projects, where she had the opportunity to work on both new construction and renovation projects during the different stages of the design process.

Sarah is involved in a number of professional and student organizations, including Penn State's Chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society, where she currently holds the position of Events Coordinator. Sarah also currently holds the position of Yearbook Director for the Student Society of Architectural Engineers, the Penn State Chapter of the Architectural Engineering Institute. As Yearbook Director, she oversees and participates in the completion of the second annual professionally designed Architectural Engineering Yearbook for the 2012 AE graduating class. Sarah also serves as a mentor to a fourth year Architectural Engineering student within the Student Society of Architectural Engineers. During her fourth year, she volunteered with the Office of Global Programs Peer Advisors, where she served as a liaison between potential Penn State study abroad students and the Penn State Office of Global Programs Advisors.
